This oil on a rather coarse canvas is signed T. Corbella, lower right. We attribute it to Tito Corbella, who was an illustrator, commercial artist, painter. He studied and worked in Venice. Famous for his postcards of women and couples. His wife was his inspiration for many of his portraits of women. We have been searching for an example of Tito Corbella's signature so we can compare it against the signature on this painting, but we have not yet located one. The subject matter would have been appropriate for Tito's genre, which is  mostly a sensual depiction of women.
