Lee was a painter writer and lecturer. He
was also an archaeologist. He was born in NYC . He died in Paris. Pupil of Josef
Israels and George Holston. He was a member of the Salmagundi Club and the Group
des Peinters et Sculpteurs Americains de Paris, the Lotos Club, and also the
Society of Illustrators.
